Application approved - October 2022
In October 2022, Council approved an additional 4 levels of car parking to the existing public car park, to create a 7-storey building. This will increase the number of car parking spaces from 514 to 1032 cars.
Council sought community feedback on the application and received 1 objection.
The development was approved subject to more than 30 conditions.

About the Proposal
Features of the proposal are as follows:
- The application proposes an extension of 4 storeys to the existing car park to provide an additional 518 car spaces and a total of 1032 car spaces.
- The proposal has a maximum building height of 20.2 metres and 24.06 metres to the stairwell.
- The works also involve a new pedestrian entrance and canopy at ground level which will requires the removal of 6 established trees along Bogong Avenue.
- It is proposed to display electronic signage to the Bogong Avenue façade providing information relating to the number of available car spaces within building.
