In June 2022 Council approved a proposal for the development of a five storey apartment building providing for 69 apartments and two levels of basement carparking for 109 vehicles.
Council sought community feedback on the application and received three objections.
The development was approved subject to more than 40 conditions.

Background
Council sought community feedback on the proposed development of a five storey apartment building with two levels of basement car parking at 718-724 High Street Road Glen Waverley
Feedback was formally sought by Friday 21 April 2022.
Please note that this is a new development application and independent of the previous application TPA/49276 issued on 2 May 2019 for a four-storey apartment building with basement car parking at 720 – 722 High Street Road, Glen Waverley. This permit has subsequently expired as works had not commenced on the site.
The applicant, Ratio Consultants, proposed a $15 million development that includes:
- Demolition of all dwellings and outbuildings on the four sites.
- Five storey building to provide for 69 apartments providing a mixture of one, two , three and four bedroom units.

- 47 x two bedroom
- 15 x three bedroom
- 2 x four bedroom
- Car parking provided within two basement levels of carparking for a total of 109 car spaces including 13 visitor spaces.
- 32 Bicycle spaces
