Prelude - an exhibition by Ru Davidson

MONCAS is proud to present ‘Prelude’, showcase of a range of works created by Ru Davidson, featuring watercolour, graphite, pastel, acrylics and oil paintings.

Ru Davidson is a Melbourne-based painter, illustrator, and author. After a successful career as a musician and teacher, she transitioned to visual arts, starting with upcycled furniture before expanding into painting. She works across various mediums, with a passion for oil painting and palette knife textures.

In 2024, Ru published her first children's book, A Friend For Christmas, with Austin Macauley Publishers UK.
