Monash Council Flu Vaccination Sessions 2025

Monash Council immunisation services is using a new booking platform, Vitavo, where you can find, book, cancel and change your/your child's immunisation appointments.

If you haven't used this platform before, please create a new account.

Free flu vaccination eligiblity

Free seasonal influenza vaccine is funded under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) for the following groups at higher risk of complications from influenza:

• People aged 65 years and over
• Infants aged from 6 months to under 5 years
• Pregnant women
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 15 years and over
• Infants aged from 6 months to under 5 years

• Anyone aged 6 months and over with a chronic condition placing them at increased risk of complications from influenza.

Attending our sessions

• Bookings are required for all sessions.

• Please bring your Medicare card.

If you are booking a flu vaccination session for your child, please:

• bring your child's personal Health Record Book to the session

• book appointments separately for each child. We will see both children at the earliest booked appointment time.

Please do NOT attend:

• if your child has a temperature over 38.5 degrees.

We would prefer you to cancel and re-book: 

• if you or your child and/or any member of your family is unwell

• if you or your child and/or any member of your family has respiratory symptoms or COVID, has tested positive to COVID or has had a COVID test and awaiting results. 

DO NOT take photos or recordings during our immunisation sessions.

After immunisation

It is important to remain at the venue for 15 minutes after immunisation for observation.

Cancellation

You can cancel your booking and rebook on your Vitavo account.
