Public toilets

Council has adopted the Public Toilet Strategy at its 26 October 2021 meeting (Agendas and Minutes).

The Strategy identifies a strategic vision, objectives, priorities and design standards relating to public toilet service provision.

Background

The Local Government Act 2020 states the primary role of Council as providing good governance in its municipal district for the benefit and wellbeing of the municipal community.

There are 4 key drivers for a Monash Public Toilet Strategy:

  • Municipal and demographic growth
