Join us for a free webinar with special guest Jane Gilmore who will moderate a panel of experts and explore the rights of victim survivors of family violence including how to navigate support, legal, housing, financial and recovery support services.
Panel speakers are from Eastern Community Legal Centre, FVREE (Free From Family Violence) and inTouch (multicultural centre against family violence).
Family violence is complex. It can take many forms and is caused by several factors. But one thing is clear – it has a significant and harmful impact on the community. Ending family violence in our community is long-term work, and everyone has a role to play. We need to develop a shared understanding of this issue to address it.
This webinar is delivered thanks to a collaboration with Maroondah City Council and Knox City Council to recognise Are you Safe at Home? Day held on the 10 May 2025.
This webinar is recommended for those aged 18 and over and is also supported by Respect Victoria and Safe and Equal, and the Victorian Government as part of the Free From Violence Local Governments Program.
If you or someone you know experience family violence, support is available: 1800RESPECT at 1800 737 732 (National Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Counselling Service). Or visit our website: Family Violence Support for more information on support services.
