Planting Working Bee - 30 June 2024

This planting working bee will restore vegetated areas to improve small bird habitat, improve habitat connections and waterway health within Damper Creek Reserve.

This event is supported by Yarra Valley Water.

Sign in meeting point is the Bengal Court Entrance.

Nearest public access points are Bengal Court and Alice Street park entrances (Mount Waverley). 

Note: Planting site is a short walk from the meeting point (located between Bengal Cres and Swayfield Road, Mount Waverley)

Bring or wear: Wear sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothes including long sleeves, hats, rain jackets and gardening gloves. Sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle and BYO mug.

Physical activity: Moderately strenuous, involves planting
