What is a raingarden? How do they help to keep our city green and cool?
Attend this workshop to find out about ways we can slow, capture and filter the water running off our roofs and city streets.
We will demonstrate how a raingarden works and you will learn about how waterbugs, fish and frogs benefit, when we make use of rainwater and stormwater, instead of sending it down the drain straight into our local creek.
We will also talk about the linkages between the health of trees, cooling our city in summer and waterway health.
This is a FREE event. Bookings essential.
