Join us for a thrifty experience while enjoying an evening cuppa and crafts!

Learn basic textile mending and upcycling skills (for example, how to sew a button, patch a hole or repair a seam).  

This workshop will help you to develop the basic skills needed to mend or upcycle clothes. If you have other upcycling projects or recycled crafts that you are working on, you are welcome to bring them along.

This event is not a repair service so attendees must be comfortable using sewing needles and have basic sewing knowledge. 

Please note: This workshop is recommended for people aged 18 years and older. If you are under the age of 18 and are interested in joining this workshop, please contact sustainability@monash.vic.gov.au to discuss attendance options.
