Monash has many reserves that are available for hire. If you are looking to hire a reserve or a sports ground (irregularly or as a one-off social game of your favourite activity or sport), please contact Council's Recreation Team to discuss hire costs, availability and conditions of use.
Alternatively, you can create an account via our online booking system (IMS), and a member of the team will contact you.

Please note: if your event occurs in an outdoor public space anywhere in Monash, you may require approval from Council. Sporting events that are presented as part of a regular fixture and run by clubs in existing lease agreements usually do not require a permit. If you are unsure if your event needs approval, please contact Council's Community Events Officer 9518 3567 or email events@monash.vic.gov.au
Playground and BBQ bookings
Playgrounds and BBQs within reserves cannot be booked for exclusive use - they are for all to enjoy together.
Passive recreation spaces
Passive recreation spaces are available for all to use. If you would like to hire the space exclusively, please contact our Recreation Team to find out hire costs, availability and conditions of use.
