Golfers out on Oakleigh Golf Course

The City of Monash has two public golf courses - Glen Waverley Golf Course and Oakleigh Golf Course.

Both courses are open daily from dawn to dusk, and include a pro shop, kiosk and club rooms.

Council will deliver a new exciting project on an area zoned Public Park and Recreation that is adjacent to the Glen Waverley Golf Course. When completed, the facility will feature a regional level tennis facility with 18 courts, including 2 show courts, golf practice facilities, public open space improvements, car parking, a pavilion, cafe and supporting infrastructure.

Glen Waverley Golf Course

The Glen Waverley 18-hole public golf course is located in picturesque Jells Road, Glen Waverley, and caters for over 45,000 rounds of golf a year.

Facilities include:

  • A fully equipped Pro Shop with club fitting and coaching services, and a range of equipment available for hire including right-hand and left-hand golf sets, electric golf carts (subject to weather) and hand-pull carts
  • Self-contained clubhouse for the Glen Waverley Golf Club
  • Warm-up nets
  • Practice green
  • Landscaped gardens and surrounds
  • BBQ and picnic facilities

Concession rates are not available on weekends and public holidays.

Oakleigh Golf Course

Nestled among the heritage area of Oakleigh and bordering Scotchmans Creek, the discreet Oakleigh 9-hole public golf course caters for over 15,000 rounds a year.

Facilities include:

  • A fully equipped Pro Shop with coaching services, and a range of equipment available for hire including right-hand and left-hand golf sets and hand-pull carts
  • Self-contained clubhouse for the Oakleigh Golf Club and Oakleigh Veterans Golf Club
  • Practice green
  • Landscaped surrounds

Concession rates are not available on weekends and public holidays.

The footbridge connecting the 9th hole of Oakleigh Public Golf Course to the clubhouse is currently closed for safety purposes. An alternative route via the gate at the back of the 9th is in place for golfers. Please note, the gate closes at 7pm.
