Works are underway on Mount Waverley Reserve cricket nets and pavilion. The drinking fountain and BBQ are scheduled for connection in early 2025.
Mount Waverley Reserve features a public asphalt tennis court, basketball half-court, oval, pavilion, cricket nets and an off-leash dog area.
The playground was upgraded in 2024 with an exciting array of play equipment. It includes play units with slides, monkey bars and other climbing equipment, a triple swing set with basket swing, an inclusive carousel, a timber log ladder, a trampoline, a nature play area, and a picnic shelter with table and barbecue.
December 2024: Works are underway on the pavilion and cricket nets. For all improvement projects, visit the Mount Waverley Reserve Masterplan Shape Monash page, The barbecue and drinking fountain will be operational in early 2025.
Dog off-leash area
Dogs must still be under effective control in dog off-leash areas (see green area in map below). Dogs are not permitted on the sportsground when organised sport events and training are in progress. This reserve is a designated off-leash area and some areas within this reserve are fully or partially fenced. More information at Dog Off-Leash Areas.
The reserve is also home to the Waverley Community Learning Centre.
