Ashwood Reserve

Ashwood Reserve is situated along the Gardiners Creek Trail, making it the perfect spot for a run or leisurely bike ride. It also has an off-leash area for dogs - so they can stretch their legs, too. 

Ashwood Reserve is part of the Ashwood/Jingella/Holmesglen Reserve dog off-leash area.

As of 1 July 2023, dogs are prohibited on Ashwood Reserve's synthetic hockey pitch and Holmesglen Reserve's A grade turf pitch (see map below). 

Dogs must be on-leash 10m either side of the Gardiners Creek Trail, and must be under effective control in off-leash areas.

The reserve’s premier hockey pitch is available through the Waverley Hockey Club, and two soccer pitches are available to the public.
