Live at Warrawee 2024

Darlinghurst performs at Live at Warrawee 2024

What a show! More than 2500 people attended Live at Warrawee 2024.

The perfectly sunny 29°C day meant people were keen to come down and sit in the beautiful Warrawee Park and enjoy their picnics while listening to the incredible performances on stage.

MC Candy Hertz set the tone with an enthusiastic introduction to open the event followed by a Welcome to Country from Elder Uncle Colin Hunter.

Local acts Wilma Sights, Doc Halibut and Wasteman looked at home on the big stage while a surprise Pop Choir performance really wowed the crowd.

The I-OP Hip Hop Crew got the crowd up with hundreds moving to the front of the stage to join in and dance.

The country sounds of the beautiful Jade Gibson were a hit and perfect lead-in to our headline act Darlinghurst, who did not disappoint with their high-energy set.

Doc Halibut

Doc Halibut are a mainstay of the Melbourne rock n' roll roots pub scene and regulars on the Australian music festival circuit of Woodford, Caloundra, Queenscliff, Echuca Blues and Bendigo Blues.

Their live shows recreate and reinterpret their songbook with energy, passion and often, a large dose of larrikin humour.

Through raucous sections of interpretation and improvisation to precise craftsmanship - the ever-present quip, jibe and plaintive observation of Andy Ferguson's lyricism stands central to the 5 piece's sound.
