From 12pm, 17 September until 6pm, 26 October 2024, councils across Victoria must comply with the caretaker period rules.
The GW Nights program was rescheduled due to COVID-19 restrictions and will now take place on four Fridays across October and November.
Glen Waverley will host a weekly program of light-themed street entertainment designed to enhance the experience for diners and encourage visitors to the dining precinct.
On Fridays 22 & 29 October and 5 & 12 November, from 6pm-9pm, Kingsway and Coleman Parade will come alive with:
GW Nights has been funded through the State Government's Local Councils Outdoor Eating and Entertainment program, and delivered in partnership with the Glen Waverley Traders Association.
The GW Nights program coincides with a second project that lights up Kingsway. This has once again been funded through the State Government and delivered in partnership with the Glen Waverley Traders to light up Kingsway’s street trees by draping them with fairy lights and adding sparkle to diners’ night-time outings.
