Everyday Computer Skills - Next Steps

Everyday Computer Skills- Next Steps is designed to build on the Everyday Computers Skills course. The course will extend learners with their digital skills, knowledge and understanding of computers, software and equipment required to assist their lifestyle, pursue work in a workplace environment, or undertake further study. It is also suitable for those wishing to build confidence and competency to undertake accredited training in courses. Content will particularly focus on developing the knowledge and skills required to operate a computer and associated software programs. Learners will develop an understanding and skills in using digital platforms with Zoom, navigating the Internet, basic introduction to Word, basic introduction to Excel, and using a scanner and digital editing tools.

The course will run for 6 weeks, 4 hours/week and will be offered as a face-to-face course. Total course hours: 24hrs.
