Creating Habitat for Pollinators Workshop

Bee pollinating a flower

Join Helen, from Friends with Honey, in this interactive workshop and discover how to support the survival of pollinators by creating habitats for them at home, school, or work.

Pollinators play a critical role in our ecosystem, and by creating habitat in your backyard, you can make a significant contribution to their preservation.

During this workshop, we will guide you through the process of creating pollinator-friendly habitats in your garden. You'll learn about a range of pollinators, including native bees, European honey bees, butterflies, moths, wasps, flies, and even small mammals like bats and birds, and discover how to identify them.

We will also provide guidance on selecting the best plants for your garden, avoiding pesticide use, and creating supplementary habitat such as a native bee hotels.

Join us and become a valuable ally in the conservation of our precious pollinators!
