Amelia Evans: The Radiohead Project - Live at The Count's

Melbourne ensemble The Radiohead Project transforms the music for jazz quartet. Inspired by Radiohead’s radically deconstructed approach to composition and performance, the band explores Radiohead’s affinity for jazz, performing works from well-known records such as OK Computer, Kid A and Amnesiac.

Award-winning Australian vocalist, Amelia Evans is a Melbourne based musician and recent Honours graduate of the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music, Monash University. With a love for storytelling through improvisation, Evans is recognized for her breathtaking vocal versatility and ability to capture an audience with her authenticity and honesty. As the recipient of the Margaret Schofield Music Performance Scholarship (VCAA) and the Monash-Pratt Music Performance Jazz Scholarship, 2016 marked the beginning of her success as a young jazz vocalist.

Evans was a finalist in the 2020 National Jazz Awards and a recipient of the James Morrison Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship, and has recorded with ABC Jazz alongside Mal Stanley to create her debut album in 2019. She has appeared on stage with local and international artists such as James Morrison, Linda Oh, Bob Sedergreen, the Daryl McKenzie Jazz Orchestra, and James Muller, with her album featuring local jazz legends Tony Floyd, Ben Robertson, and Steve Sedergreen.
