Cycling, bike trails, repair stations and bike path upgrades Council maintains a number of cycling tracks in the near 120 parks and reserves in the region, and is upgrading existing paths to meet modern standards.
Dog poo bag dispensers and drinking fountains To make it easier for people to pick up after their dogs, there are dog poo bag dispensers in local parks and reserves. There are also fountains with separate drinking areas for people and for dogs.
Playspace upgrades Council regularly upgrades local playspaces to make them more interesting and fun for local children.
Reserve and open space upgrades We are upgrading some of our reserves and open spaces over the next few years with signage, bins, dog poo bag dispensers, drinking fountains and partial fencing.
Upgrade to Central Reserve Grandstand Exciting changes have been made to Central Reserve, with an upgrade of the 50-year-old grandstand and a new space created for an Artisan Hub for the Waverley Wood Workers and Waverley Gem Club.
