One golden sunny morn
A golden child was born
She entered my little world
And gave it a whole new glow
A gentle little heart
The future in her hands
In her I can see
A tiny part of me
Another reason to breathe
Another focus for life
An innocent little soul
A tiny hand to hold
I didn’t expect this joy
It came as a total surprise
Love in a different form
The Sun is shining warm
Each time we meet
She screams and runs
Grandma grandma
And we’re ready for the fun
I don’t have any worries
I get the giggles and the hugs
We play we laugh we draw
And we dance across the floor
I hope for all the joy
I want a golden life
Full of sunny days
For my little shining light
I receive so much from her
And I want the same for her
I hope as she grows older
A little person calls
grandma grandma
And her world will glow with gold
