SHHHH! SHHHH! Grandpa watered the plants in the garden, while humming a tune. The plants were growing very well.

When he finished, Grandpa went to eat dinner. Grandma had kindly cooked tomato soup and rice for dinner.
“Mmmmmh!” everyone moaned. “This is delicious!!!””

In less than half an hour, the whole family had finished their share of food. Before they left, Mum made an announcement.

“ I would like to make an announcement, I’ve been keeping track of the human-eating vegetables, and, they’re heading towards us,” she said. Ella and Bella glanced at each other. It was unbelievable for everyone.
“It is time to sleep!” Mum awkwardly said. Everyone trudged to bed, unable to believe in the misery in their lives that were very likely to end.

In the night, a peculiar sound woke Grandma and Grandpa. They creeped out, trying to find the noise.

BONK! They bumped into each other. After a moment of surprise, a few carrots monsters chewed on their hands. After shaking them off, they looked up only to see many more vegetables. Grandma took her spatula and Grandpa took his hose. “YAY!” the family cheered as they defeated the monsters.
