Our multilingual volunteers (English, Chinese, Italian, Greek, Arabic, and Hindi) are ready to assist with a regular phone call where you can discuss ways to feel safe and what assistance is available in a crisis or emergency.

This initiative is a collaboration between Monash Council, South East Volunteers and local police.

It aims to instil a sense of security in older adults and people with disabilities.

Eligibility criteria

  • Reside in the City of Monash. 
  • Aged 50 or older, or have a disability (regardless of age). 
  • No restrictions based on pension or residential status. 
  • Ability to communicate over the phone is essential.
