What does being a Monash Ally Champion mean to you?

Being a Monash Ally champion is incorporating diversity and inclusion into everyday conversations, activities, and interactions. Thinking about promoting diversity and inclusion in my actions allows for reflection and promotion of inclusive behaviour, which will pass it forward and hopefully create a space of inclusion. 

How do you think you can make an impact on diversity and inclusion in your area of work?

I can impact diversity and inclusion by interacting with many diverse areas of the Council and the community. Working with fantastic community members, volunteers, team leaders, and programs allows for the opportunity to promote thought and action on removing pre-existing diversity and inclusion barriers for people to live, work and play in Monash.
