The Glen Waverley Community Centre has several hall hire options depending on the size of your group.

The large hall accommodates up to 120 people, with stage and timber floor, sound system and built-in projector and screen, is a great venue for larger functions.

It also has wi-fi, and a kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, oven, grill plate, microwave and hot water urn. 

The large hall and small hall can be combined to accommodate up to 190 people, but they are not hired individually for multiple groups at the same time.

Council halls - booking enquiry

Please note, booking request does not confirm your booking until a Halls Officer has made contact with you and required documents have been provided.

Hire Conditions

Please note that most of our venues require hirers to provide proof of $20 million public liability insurance or purchase occasional public liability insurance from Council.

Council assesses all applications to hire its venues and has the right to refuse an application or place additional conditions (such as security, increased bond for events considered to be high risk).

Hire Cost - large hall

Community hire: $34.40 an hour

Commercial or private hire: $60.00 an hour
