Oakleigh South Child and Family Hub - Multipurpose Room
Oakleigh South Child and Family Hub’s multipurpose room serves as a versatile space. It is home to community groups, playgroups, and parents' groups. The room is suited to a wide variety of activities and accommodates up to 30 people.
Programs and activities run in this room need to be child, parent or family focused. This space is not suitable for parties including children’s birthday celebrations.
This space features a 72-inch smart TV, full kitchen facilities, and large bifold doors opening onto a small fully fenced outdoor area with rock yarning circle. The room is fully carpeted to the kitchen area, which has vinyl flooring.
A storage cupboard contains a variety of furniture available for use with options suitable for adults, young people and children.
Featured furniture includes: 4 x large tables (flip fold style), 2 x large low tables (young child size), 19 x white chairs (adult size), 16 x small wooden chairs (young child size).
Kitchen facilities include a microwave, full sized oven and cooktop with rangehood, fridge/freezer, dishwater and hot/cold zip tap. Basic serving ware, crockery (plates, bowls, cups, glasses), cutlery and utensils are available for use in the kitchen cupboards.

Hire Conditions
Please note that most of our venues require hirers to provide proof of $20 million public liability insurance or purchase occasional public liability insurance from Council.
Council assesses all applications to hire its venues and has the right to refuse an application or place additional conditions.
Hire Cost
Community hire: $25.00 per hour, $200.00 per day
Not for profit / funded service: $31.50 per hour, $252.00 per day
Commercial or private hire: $41.50 per hour, $332.00 per day
