Damper Creek Conservation Reserve is an ecological corridor located on Wurrundjeri land in Mount Waverley. The Friends of Damper Creek Conservation Reserve is a voluntary environmental group which supports the City of Monash's management of the reserve. The Friends actively help through applying for environmental grants and organising regular working bees that involve planting, weeding, water watch, cleaning up litter and general care for the bushland. The Friends also try to educate and inform the community about this special place and the species that live there through a production of a monthly newsletter, quarterly guest speakers and the Friends Webpage.
