Earlier this year, Council sought ideas and feedback from the local community on a proposal to reclaim the open space from the demolished Oakleigh Scout Hall and create a pocket park at Cambridge Street Reserve, Oakleigh South.
We have been working hard to create an exciting draft concept plan which we are now seeking feedback on.
Background
The Oakleigh Scout Hall at Cambridge Street Reserve was demolished in 2019, increasing the amount of passive space in the reserve, as well as unlocking the space from the southern end.
Council sought community ideas on what could be included in the new playspace until Thursday 4 February 2021.
The Cambridge Street Reserve playspace project is supported by the Victorian Government through the Local Parks Program.
