Reconciliation Champion
Criteria
This award recognises outstanding achievements of an individual or organisation in the advancing Reconciliation within Monash.
Actively supporting institutional integrity, promotes unity, respecting race relations, strengthening unity, and historical acceptance.
This category welcomes nominations for people who have:
- Made a substantial or ongoing contribution towards reconciliation
- Shown commitment on a personal level or as part of an organisation in activities that promote reconciliation
- Demonstrated advocacy of reconciliation in Monash either in the community or in a workplace
- Implemented policies and/or projects that takes into account the needs of the First Nations community within Monash
- Implemented policies and/or projects that contribute to a culturally competent workplace
- Demonstrated support towards First Nations employees.
Nominations are open to the entire community. Nominations from First Nations people are encouraged.
