Forough Derakshan 

Forough is a member of the Monash Interfaith Gathering and the Bahai’ community.

Through her role as Monash Interfaith Gathering President, she encouraged women members to take up positions on the executive committee and leading roles in organising events while breaking down gender stereotypes to showcase what they can achieve if given the opportunity.
