For more than 15 years, Parminder has volunteered as a yoga teacher, providing classes to seniors, on the mat and in the chair, as well as conducting breathing exercises, seven days a week, enabling seniors to improve their physical fitness, mental health and agility.
By creating and maintaining connections during the COVID-19 pandemic, she continued teaching her yoga classes online via Zoom, providing a social platform for seniors to engage with each other and remain mentally and physically active during lockdown. Such was the success of her program that she had an international following from India and USA for her online yoga classes.
