2021 Volunteer of the Year and Outstanding Leadership

Kathleen has demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment as a volunteer interviewer and president with the Monash Oakleigh Community Support and Information Service, particularly during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The centre is staffed by volunteers and provides a range of services, from managing the foodbank to stocking the opportunity shop to working in the vegetable garden to provide fresh vegetables for clients.

Kathleen has served in several administrative roles at the centre and has used her considerable knowledge and financial expertise for the greater benefit of the service and its clients.
