Volunteer of the Year

Angelo Sardellis

Angelo is a man who steps forward in a crisis. He has been an active volunteer in the Oakleigh community for more than 30 years and is the creative force behind the highly successful Oakleigh Glendi festival.

Angelo is president of the Oakleigh Greek Orthodox Community and the Oakleigh Grammar Board and is a member of the Monash Multicultural Committee.

He is passionate about caring for the elderly and supporting the underprivileged and  inspires others to put up their hand to get involved in their community.
