Going Circular Training Program: Expressions of Interest

How can your business reduce waste, costs, foster innovation and increase its profile by embracing principles of circular economy?

We are partnering with Glen Eira Council and Circulise to offer small to medium businesses the FREE Going Circular Training Program to help drive sustainability practices in Monash.

Business owners can expect to learn more about the benefits of a circular economy and how circular economy principles can be embed into their practices to drive financial, environmental and social outcomes for their business and customers. 

The 6-week training program consists of online workshops, in person networking opportunities and one-on-one consultation with circular economy experts.

Program details

With expert guidance, participants will develop a tailored pathway and circular economy action plan to support their business to:

• Reduce costs 
• Grow their customer base 
• Identify new revenue streams 
• Enhance supply chain resilience 
• Minimise waste 

Program key dates

Runs from Monday 7 October to Friday 15 November 2024, and is delivered on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6pm - 7.45pm.

A closing networking event will be held in person on Wednesday 20 November 2024.

Program eligibility

Business must be small to medium-size and located in the City of Monash.

Applicants must be able to attend workshops and complete the coursework during the program.

Interested businesses are invited to submit an expression of interest before Monday 30 September 2024.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via email.

A $200 deposit is required to enrol in the training program:

• This deposit will be refunded upon successful completion of the program. 
• If the business fails to complete the program for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited to Council and will not be refunded. 
• If Council decides not to proceed with the program, applicants who have paid a deposit will be refunded their deposit.
