Pitch Night is Eastern Innovation's flagship event, providing select entrepreneurs and business owners the opportunity to pitch their business concepts to a panel of esteemed judges and the wider community, with the chance to win 6 months of workspace at Eastern Innovation. Prior to the event, successful pitch applicants undergo a fully-paid pitch training program by 25eight.

About the MC

MC Phil Ore has an incredible knack for spotting golden opportunities for small businesses, helping them pitch their business and achieve success.

As the co-founder of 25eight, a B Corp™ all about innovation and entrepreneurship, Phil brings extensive experience and a dash of creativity to Pitch Night.

His other roles include being the brains behind Entrepreneurs&Co, a social enterprise that supports entrepreneurs aiming for global success, as well as pitch mentor for Startup Victoria and global ambassador for Inspiring Rare Birds.

Before diving into his own ventures, Phil worked for Nokia, where he was the Global Director of Customer Experience. With over 25 years in strategy, technology, marketing and business building, Phil knows how to help organisations tackle problems, motivate stakeholders, and make sure everyone enjoys the journey.
