Customer Experience and Halls Management

Our purpose: We are committed to providing a high-quality customer focus, through our Customer Experience and Monash Halls teams.

The Customer Service (CX) team plays an integral role in the relationship between Council and its customers, providing a high-quality service over the phone, face-to-face at the counters, via email and through other online channels. Our teams are based at the Civic Centre (Glen Waverley) and the Oakleigh Service Centre.

Our Monash Halls team manages Council’s community facilities across the municipality which are used by a variety of community groups and private/commercial hirers.

What we do

We are the face of Council. We provide high quality and welcoming service at first point of contact, sharing relevant information and knowledge, or where necessary referring the customer quickly for further assistance, to an internal or external expert.

How we do it

Efficiently, patiently and quickly. We use our experience of systems and process to ensure the customers get the information they need in a timely and thorough way. When we don’t know, we find out or ask an expert in the matter to call them back.
