WordFest 2024 is here!

WordFest is our annual literature festival brought to you by the Monash Public Library Service.

Running from 20 June - 11 July 2024, the festival brings readers and writers together for a series of author talks, writing workshops and the Monash Short Story Writing Competition.

Our program is packed with opportunities to hear about and talk about the theme of 'Every Page Counts’, providing for some memorable experiences and the opportunity to share in important social dialogue about a range of topical or engaging subjects.

This year, we welcome Tracey Spicer AM to launch WordFest, with Trent Cotchin, Jelena Dokic, Matt Preston, Kate Ceberano and Nick McKenzie headlining this year’s Sir John Monash Lecture.  

There are also plenty of other speakers to enjoy, and workshops for writers.
