WordFest 2023 is here!

WordFest is Council's annual literature festival brought to you by the Monash Public Library Service. 

Running from 22 June - 13 July 2023, the festival brings readers and writers together for a series of author talks, writing workshops and the Monash Short Story Writing Competition. 

Our program is packed with opportunities to hear about and talk about the 'things that matter', providing for some memorable experiences and the opportunity to share in important social dialogue about a range of topical or engaging subjects. 

This year, we welcome Jon Faine to launch WordFest, with Samuel Johnson, Rob Mills and Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert headlining key events throughout the festival. There are also plenty of other speakers to enjoy, and workshops for writers.
