Monash Council recognises that these are unprecedented times calling for unprecedented decisions.

During the reintroduction of Stage 3 restrictions from 8 July, we will continue to be here to support you during these challenging times and in the recovery ahead.

We’re supporting our ratepayers through our updated hardship policy. It’s always been available for residents, but we’ve extended it to provide assistance for investment property owners and businesses.

We’ve suspended our footpath trading fees, and fees and charges for sporting groups and community organisations.

And we’re working hard to ensure our essential services continue – all this while maintaining the lowest rates on average of any municipality in the state.
