New shared path decals are being installed across Monash to remind users that the paths are a shared area.

These non-slip stickers are aimed at improving safety for cyclists and pedestrians and are being installed along major shared path routes.

The decals will inform users when they enter a path that is a shared area and provide regular prompts along the way to remind users of their responsibilities when using a shared path. This includes reminding users to keep left and for cyclists to slow down and ring their bells when passing others.

Installation will occur throughout June 2021, weather permitting.
