1. How much is council spending on Christmas decorations this year (inc. install and removal)?
2. How much council is spending on new decorations this year? 

Response

The City of Monash has budgeted $130,000 this year for the purchase, installation and removal of Christmas decorations across our busiest shopping precincts. This includes re-using previous decorations, a new replacement installation in Oakleigh and additional interactive festive ‘selfie pods’ at our Mount Waverley, Pinewood, Syndal, Clayton and Huntingdale activity centres.

$45,000 of this budget is allocated to new decorations.
