A new service to assist people who may not speak English or prefer to converse in another language is being offered by Council.

A number of Monash staff have undergone accreditation training and will now be providing translator assistance through our new Language Aide program.

This program extends our customer service delivery to our residents, business owners and visitors to Monash, allowing them to access important information and better understand the services available to them.

The Language Aide program can provide interpreters in a number of languages including Hindi, Punjabi, mandarin, Cantonese, Italian and Greek.

Language Aide staff can assist in completing a simple form, providing instructions or directions or advice on a particular program or service.

People seeking this service can contact us by visiting the Monash Civic Centre (293 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley) or by calling 9518 3555.
