Monash Recycling & Waste Centre closed due to extreme weather

Update: Monash Recycling & Waste Centre has now re-opened. In the event of unpredictable weather throughout the day, the centre may be forced to close and we advise calling 9518 3555 ahead of your visit to check. 

Monash Recycling & Waste Centre in Notting Hill has been closed due the storm event on Thursday 23 March 2023.

We apologise for any inconvenience and will update you when the centre re-opens.

Who to call in extreme weather

• For life-threatening emergencies, dial 000
• The State Emergency Service (SES) can help residents with damage to private property. For more information, phone 132 500 or go to www.ses.vic.gov.au
• For storm damage to roads, footpaths and nature strips, call Council on 9518 3555 (during business hours and for after-hours emergencies).

During a storm event, there could be many affected locations across the municipality, and many residents contacting Council. At these times, please be patient while we respond.
