Federal election announcement - Kingsway rejuvenation

Monash Council was pleased to receive a funding commitment for the upcoming federal election from Dr Katie Allen, the Liberal Party candidate for Chisholm, of $9.65m for the rejuvenation of Kingsway in Glen Waverley. This rejuvenation will create widened footpaths enabling outdoor trading, lighting, tree planting, a new public plaza on the Central Car Park site and public artwork to make it easier for pedestrians to move around while maintaining vehicle access.

The federal election has been called for Saturday 3 May, more information can be found on the Australian Electoral Commission website.
