Draft Budget 2021/22 and Revenue & Rating Plan 2021-2025

Monash Council is seeking community feedback on its Draft Budget 2021/22 and the Revenue & Rating Plan 2021-2025.

The Draft Budget 2021/22 and the Revenue & Rating Plan 2021-2025 (the Plan) have been prepared in accordance with Sections 93 & 94 of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act).

The Draft Budget 2021/22 and Plan can be viewed on Shape Monash or at the Monash Civic Centre (293 Springvale Rd, Glen Waverley), Oakleigh Service Centre (3 Atherton Rd) or from our public library branches: Clayton (9-15 Cooke St), Glen Waverley (112 Kingsway), Mt Waverley (41 Miller Cr), Oakleigh (148 Drummond St), Wheelers Hill (860 Ferntree Gully Rd) and Wellington Reserve Community Centre (36-42 Mackie Rd, Mulgrave).

Submissions

Any person may make a written submission on the Draft Budget 2021/22 and Plan. Submissions are to be received by Friday 28 May 2021 and can be sent by email to mail@monash.vic.gov.au or mail to PO Box 1, Glen Waverley, 3150.  Submissions can also be hand delivered to the Monash Civic Centre.

Submitters may request, in their submission, to appear in person (or be represented by another person) at the designated committee meeting of Council.  This meeting will be held at the Monash Civic Centre on Tuesday 8 June, at 7pm.  In your submission please include your name, address, phone and/or email address. Council staff will contact you with details about how you can make a verbal submission at the 8 June meeting.

It is proposed that Council will adopt its final Budget 2021/22 and the Plan at its meeting at the Monash Civic Centre on Tuesday 29 June, from 7pm.
