Some Council services will be unavailable on certain days of the holiday period, while other services will operate as usual.
Council Offices
Civic Centre (293 Springvale Rd, Glen Waverley)
Oakleigh Service Centre (3 Atherton Rd, Oakleigh)
- Tuesday 24 December - closing at 3pm
- Wednesday 25 December - CLOSED
- Thursday 26 December - CLOSED
- Tuesday 31 December - closing at 3pm
- Wednesday 1 January - CLOSED
Waste and Recycling Collections
Rubbish and recycling will be collected as normal through the Christmas period, including on public holidays.

Monash Recycling and Waste Centre
The Recycling and Waste Centre is open to all customers (trade and residential) from 7.30am 3pm every day, including Sundays.
Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day:
- Wednesday 25 December - CLOSED
- Thursday 26 December - CLOSED
- Wednesday 1 January - CLOSED
