Bin collection delays

Due to staff impacts from COVID-19, Council's contractor Solo Resource Recovery is experiencing ongoing delays with bin collections.
As a result, collections are continuing until 7pm on some evenings, as well as starting early on weekends. If your bin has been missed, please continue to leave your bin on your nature strip until it has been collected.
In an effort to minimise these delays we are prioritising residential garbage collection ahead of recycling, green waste and twice weekly commercial services.
We thank residents for your patience at this time and if your bin is not collected on time please wait until midday of the next business day to lodge a 'missed bin collection' with us.
When lodging a ‘missed bin collection’ please leave your bin out as the contractor can return at any time after your request is lodged, including on weekends.
