Some Council services will operate as usual on Monday 27 January 2025 while other services will be unavailable.

Waste collection

Household rubbish, recycling and green waste bins will be collected as normal (rubbish and recycling).

Monash Recycling & Waste Centre

The Monash Recycling & Waste Centre is open to all customers (trade and residential) from 7.30am-3pm every day.

For staff and customer safety, the Recycling and Waste Centre may temporarily close to the public during extreme weather conditions. Please check information on the Centre web page before coming: Monash Recycling & Waste Centre.

Council offices

The Civic Centre (Glen Waverley) and the Oakleigh Service Centre will be closed on Monday 27 January 2025.

Libraries

All local library branches will be closed on 27 January 2025.

Aquatic and Recreation Centres

The Clayton Aquatics and Health Club (CAHC), Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC), and Oakleigh Recreation Centre (ORC) will be open, with some reduced hours.
