On being a leader
Being a girl guide leader is a very rewarding volunteer activity. It is wonderful to have an opportunity to assist young girls become independent resourceful young women, leaders in tomorrows society.
It is great to see girls develop as they move through the guiding program. See them gain confidence and a variety of different skills to help them in today's hectic world.
But not only do you enjoy the interaction with the girls, you too, can learn new skills and do new activities all through the one organisation of girl guides.
