Walking and Cycling in Monash

Whether it's on wheels or on your own two feet, Council wants to make it easier for people to be active as part of their everyday routine.

If you or your family walk or bike ride or would like to do more of these type of activities then Council wants to hear from you.

Council is setting its sights on making Monash a walking and cycling friendly place to live and work and wants your involvement to achieve this.

YOU CAN BE INVOLVED BY:
  • Completing a survey online, or by picking up a hard copy from Council's offices at 293 Springvale Rd, Glen Waverley, the Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre, Clayton Community Centre, Oakleigh Recreation Centre and all libraries
  • Attending a discussion session:

    Monday, 27 February: 7 - 8.30pm at Clayton Community Centre

    Wednesday, 29 February: 7 - 8.30pm at Monash Council Civic Centre

  • You can also send Council a written submission, sharing your thoughts about what you think should be included in our Walking and Cycling Strategy to 'Recreation Services', 293 Springvale Rd, Glen Waverley, VIC 3150 or email MilesD@monash.vic.gov.au.

Please submit your comments until Wednesday, 29 February 2012.

The information gathered will assist in the development of the Monash Walking and Cycling Strategy designed to provide guidance to Council on the walking and cycling needs of the community.
