Preschool Field Officer (PSFO)
To support eligible kindergartens and child care services (with a funded kindergarten program) to provide an inclusive environment for children during their funded four-year-old kindergarten year, by:
- Providing or sourcing information and support in response to kindergarten/childcare service inclusion needs
- Supporting services to develop, implement and sustain flexible, inclusive practices
- Assisting services to link with relevant paediatric services and community groups
- Assisting services to work in partnership with families and support networks
- Advising and supporting services in regard to policies relating to access for children with additional needs
- Facilitating development of program plans that respond to identified service needs

Kindergarten Central Enrolment
A central registration scheme for three and four year old preschool is managed by Council. Children can be registered from 18 months of age.

Three and four year old Kindergarten enrolment 2012
The Central Enrolment Scheme for the City of Monash reminds families to enrol for 3 and 4 year old kindergarten (also known as preschool).
If your child turns 3 before the 30 April 2012 or 4 before 30 April 2012 they can be enrolled to attend kindergarten in 2012 .
